Birmingham Reviews – Las Iguanas
Name – Las Iguanas
Location – Somerset House, 37 Temple St, Birmingham B2 5DP (and 70 Hurst St, Birmingham B5 4TD)
Type – Lunch with colleagues
Las Iguanas is a South American Restaurant and Bar, with two locations in Birmingham City Centre.
We visited here for a team lunch on a Friday afternoon a few months ago. The place was bustling, so we already knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant goes far back, with tables wide apart so you have enough space to relax. There is also a more relaxed bar area, with high tables and stools.
The fun, bright interior makes for a comfortable atmosphere, whilst the extensive menu suits all tastes. What’s more, there is a wide variety of dishes suitable for vegetarians and vegans, so everybody is happy!
We had a unanimous thumbs up from everyone for the food, which just shows how brilliant it was.
Service was quick, and the staff are extremely friendly.
Overall, we loved this place from the atmosphere and interior, to the food and staff. I must admit, since visiting here I’m itching to go back and enjoy some more of their food and show it off to friends! It’s a great place for food and drink with colleagues, or team lunches
