We recently visited the newly refurbished Jailbird. This is a seafood and steak restaurant and cocktail bar located on Colmore Row, meaning that it is right in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.
We were blown away by the inside decor. The building itself is beautiful, and the decor matches it perfectly. It is grand, with stylish furniture, giving it an almost 60’s feel. There is a vast alcoholic and soft drink menu, as well as hot drinks.
We worked downstairs for a while (with very fast wifi), and then headed up to the eatery restaurant upstairs, where the luxury decor continues but with a slightly more airy feel to it. We managed to bag a window seat, which meant we could see out all over Birmingham.
They have a large menu and clearly state dishes that contain gluten, dairy and nuts, which is a great help for those with eating intolerances. The food was high quality and very tasty, and service was fast.
The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly.
Overall, we rate this a big 5*! It is a great place for client entertainment with its classy and beautiful decor, wide range of food and perfect location. Whether you come for just drinks or food as well, you will not be disappointed.
