Monthly Pay Day Lunch – Urban Emporium Review

Every month the team gets together to have a monthly pay day lunch – not only is a great way to get together in a relaxed environment, but it’s also a good excuse to try out a new restaurant!

Being based in Birmingham City Centre, there’s always lots on offer and new restaurants popping up all of the time.

This month we opted to try out Urban Emporiums, located on Church Street which is in walking distance from our office. If you didn’t know it was there you could easily miss it, and it is a jewel to visit.

It has cafe style vibes, but with a cosy atmosphere and an extensive menu – from breakfast and brunch to lunch and special Pancake Tuesday. They also offer a large variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options – and if you’ve read our previous reviews then you’ll know how important this is!

The food was quick, and the open kitchen means that you can see exactly what the chef is making. Think comfort food but of high quality.

Overall we loved this quirky cafe, and is a great place for a coffee with friends or a team lunch.
